Private Residence

In stark contrast to the majority of the surrounding gardens in Red Hill, this space is a resort-inspired landscape featuring dense lush foliage and trees.

Complementing the modernist architecture, swaths of groundcovers adjacent to the building showcase the built form’s textures against the green.

Feature shrubs and trees highlight the landscape in focal locations, mainly where views are longer and important. At the end of a long open space feature trees draw the eyes and provide interesting view lines. Beautiful lush planting forms a striking backdrop to the pool and water feature.

A dramatic Chinese elm is retained and forms the major focus of the central courtyard. Low vegetation, like native grasses and classic lawn areas, amplify the mature tree’s grandeur and arresting presence.
