METCASH ROOF TERRACE

The client, Metcash, intended to upgrade a small area on the roof of their new headquarters. However, having been shown the potential of the space, Metcash were convinced to undertake a remodel of the entire space.
The concept reflects the commercial nature of the business but with a playful twist. Comprising of small garden rooms surrounding two existing tennis courts, each with a function for either corporate events, staff relaxation or both, the roof becomes a fantastic space for staff and clients alike to enjoy.
Built over the existing infrastructure of the site, the space uses a combination of custom-designed elements with store bought feature items. Some of the spaces created are a long bar overlooking the CBD, a mini-golf / lawn bowls green, and several informal seating areas.
